Everyone who at least once rested in the summer over Konin lakes, knows how much interest in all kinds of motorboating sports enjoy here. The Konin region offers tourists 17 lakes, of which several are part of the Warta-Gopło channel (32 km). Places that are especially fond of boaters are primarily Lake Patnów, Wąsosze, Mikorzyn and Ślesin, due to special zones for practicing motorboat sports. Other lakes in Konin and the Konin county include a zone of silence. The exception to the rule are large events organized on the water, such as the Polish Powerboat Championships, the European Powerboat Championships and the Powerboat World Championships on Lake Skulsk and Skulska Wieś.
