Church of St. Stanisław the Bishop and Martyr in Warzymów
Warzymowo, 2
62-560 SkulskThe church was built in the XV century by Mikołaj from Warzymowo Sokołowski of the Pomian coat of arms. At the same time, a defensive castle was built, however its location is only indicated by an overgrown hill. For some time the building served as an Arian church before its return to the catholic hands. After the dissolution of the Warzymowo parish and the incorporation of the village into the Skulsk parish the church was renovated. However after Antonii Morzycki took over the estate the furnishings of the church were transfered to Sadlno and from the second half of the XVII century it started serwing as a granary. In 1908 bishop Stanisław Zdzitowiecki solemnly reconsecrated the church and in 1966 the most recent renovation of the church began.
The interior of the church is only open to visitors only during Sunday mass.
